Tired of CHANGE

At the beginning, change seemed like a comfortable concept. At that time, I was bored of monotony. Now, I'm bored of the concept of change. We cannot see any tangible difference. Yeah.. Maldives is more popular than it was ever before... No.. 'notorious' is the right word.
But the question that arises now is the new found 'publicity' is being used for the right purposes. For instance, it is no secret that some Maldivians... a few Maldivians actually.. are being radicalised and are joining the terrorism club... and all the local and international authorities are well aware of this.
However, I believe, it is not responsible leadership to let it slip that Maldivians are involved in major terror attacks... I quote... our president said, he 'feels' like there is a Maldivian connection to the Mumbai attacks.
That, surely is not one of the most diplomatic moves. We all know that we loved Nasheed's spontaneity during the election campaign... but maybe it's time to use his favourite strategy.. CHANGE.. in his diplomacy...or maybe even his media advisor or speech writer.
Maldivian students in neighbouring countries and even in the broader arena, need not suffer because our president had a hunch that Maldivians were involved in the 26/11 massacre.
I feel for those Maldivian students who now suffer threats and attacks just for being a Maldivian...

"Change life! Change Society! These ideas lose completely their meaning without producing an appropriate space. A lesson to be learned from soviet constructivists from the 1920s and 30s, and of their failure, is that new social relations demand a new space, and vice-versa."[12]

change happens when there are alterations to our daily life
